I hadn’t planned on such a hiatus but it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I wouldn’t have ever seen that had it been asked of me ahead of time. Heck no! Yet it was what I needed to be where I am today.
I’m certainly not asking you to swear off men. No ma’am. I am asking you if you can relate to any of the following:
- I don’t have time!
- Some day, one day I’ll have a partner
- Later …
- Not if it’s like the last time …
If any of these are true I invite you to keep reading.
I spent my life moving from relationship to relationship, holding on and hoping it would just get better. I turned myself inside out trying to figure out how to make this one, The one. In this, I put up with a lot and told the story “it’s not that bad” and “it will get better”… and it got worse. And I found myself in abusive relationships and it wasn’t getting any better.
So I took a hiatus, I took responsibility and I took action. I’ve been living and learning differently for the last 10 years (and will continue) and I invite you to share in what I’ve learned to invite the partner of your dreams in. It is possible and I am living proof. I am surrounded by supportive, loving, exciting, fulfilling relationships today and I show up for them. And I can help you to experience this too.
